Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North

I was just looking for a room close by the airport after my flight got canceled. This spot was very convenient across the airport. There are a couple of quick bite spots like subway which is right next door. There is also a pollo tropical nearby . Another good perk is free parking. Not every hotel has free parking available..

Check-in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and we had no problems getting extra towels. Rooms were clean. Floors looked a little dirty but it could have just been the flooring. I will stay here again.

We had a nice check in experience with Gabby. Only things we would like to see is an elevator or lift. It was very hard to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The hotel has spent time updating the rooms with nice drapes, wall art, flooring… Next they need to replace doors and trim. Can’t close bathroom door as it is wood and swells with the humidity. Also struggled to close main door for same reason. There is some rust around the door frames. Easy to fix.

I had a great experience at Days Inn thanks to Gaby and the entire staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Gaby went out of her way to help me with directions and made everything so easy and stress free. You can really tell the staff cares about their guests. I truly appreciate the kindness and great service, I would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay before or after your cruise! Definitely a budget hotel, but the included (free) airport/cruise port shuttles are great! Gaby at the front desk was AMAZING at giving directions on where to wait at the airport for the free shuttle to the hotel. Doors 7/15 at the arrivals is where you can find the sprinter van labelled with the hotel’s logo. Will definitely stay here again!

Was this the most luxerious place to stay? No. Was Lakesha (front desk) the absolute best? YES! We had a great time during our stay. They don't have coffee or breakfast as mentioned on the ad but there are places close enough to get what you need. The pool was great, rooms were clean and the transport to and from airport was included! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Miami!

Front desk staff were nice and very accommodating. Suggestions: For rooms without a microwave, place one near the ice machine for easy access. Overall, great experience. I'm sure I'll be returning again!

This is my second visit within 2 months at this hotel establishment. During my first visit l must admit, I was very hesitant, nervous and even scared. Why? I read the reviews first and it was so many nasty and negative reviews about the room conditions and how bad the staff treated you. I was imagining the worse things ever such as a roach infested room , dingy or dirty linen and towels. However, on that first visit, everything that I’ve read was completely far from the truth! I initially was going to have a negative experience, but that got quickly turned around then for the better. I ride a mobility scooter, and that day that I came the weather was very cold in Miami and rainy. It’s when we recently had a very bad cold snap in every part of the United States felt it. I waited over an hour for the courtesy shuttle to pick me up along with the host of other people waiting to get on. I was in conversation back-and-forth with the general manager, Miss M at the time, and she assured me that she was gonna allow her Driver to know to pick me up first and to be looking for me. When he finally arrive, I was bum, rushed by all the people getting on that bus. They saw me there as well and when I asked the driver, what about me he said he could not get me that he will be back in an hour because the bus was too full. I practically cried I’m cold freezing cold. I’m in a mobility scooter and unfortunately at the time I did not have money to take a Uber or a Lyft I called back to management clearly upset, but she turned things around immediately by saying go take a taxi and let the taxi driver know that we will pay them as soon as they get here. I was very happy. Although it was just me the room that I had was a double room humongous very large room very clean very neat. That was something else that was debunked in my mind. Not only was the manager nice but the staff as well, very friendly and extremely accommodating. I feared going to their shuttle complementary ride to the port of Miami, which saved me even more money, of course, but I thought that I was only going to the same type of shuttle and get left again because of people going and filling up fast with luggage and everything But instead, they actually sent a huge charter bus like one of those Tour buses with the big big space at the bottom of the bus to put everything in which fit my scooter perfectly. Fast forward I arrived yesterday yesterday March 1 I called the hotel to let them know that I am here and once again warned them I have my mobility scooter. Miss S the other general manager worked there at this time yesterday and she called me and stated that the company no longer pick up mobility scooters immediately felt frustrated, but she said instead take a taxi and we will pay for it when you get here. An instant smile grew on my face and I absolutely love this place and every time that I have to take a cruise out of Miami this is where I will stay. I learned a valuable lesson and that don’t always judge things based on other peoples opinions, but truly try and get your own experience to develop your own true opinion. My opinion is definitely changed as I prejudged it prior to me ever visiting. I recommend this hotel for a couple of reasons for anyone to come to to travel. First and foremost, friendly, and accommodate staff, Second large spacious and very clean rooms with a very comfortable bed, Finally, the courtesy transportation from the airport, as well as the courtesy, free transportation to the cruise port, saving us a lot of money.
